Happy Fourth of July to all the American women who have worked to make our country what it is today. From activists and ground-breaking scientists to Supreme Court Justices and representatives, Our Secure Future is happy to celebrate the accomplishments of American women from all walks of life.

The WPS agenda presents the opportunity to make formal peacemaking and peacebuilding processes and structures more inclusive, effective, and sensitive to the needs of the entire population. However, the agenda will not be fully successful without the inclusion of men.

Our Secure Future presented at the 6th annual conference on Women, Peace and Security hosted by the US Naval War College.

One Earth Future (OEF), the International Maritime Organization (IMO), and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) held a joint event on Women, Peace and Maritime Security: Equal Opportunities in Maritime Security.
