Andrea Pimentel Briceno is a Program & Operations Manager at Our Secure Future (OSF), where she oversees the day-to-day operations of OSF programs and partners closely with leadership to advance strategic priorities, including expanding the WPS Academy. In this role, Andrea strengthens OSF's organizational efficiency and impact as it scales its global Women, Peace and Security work. Previously, Andrea served as a Program Officer for the International Republican Institute's (IRI) initiative to promote women's civic and political participation and leadership, the Women's Democracy Network (WDN). Before WDN, Andrea worked as a Program Manager at Women's Action for New Directions (WAND), a nonprofit dedicated to advocating for security and peace with justice and managed the En Voz Alta mentorship program. Before WAND, Andrea interned with the Policy and Advocacy team at Mercy Corps and the U.S House of Representatives. Prior to residing in Washington, D.C., she was a field and district organizer for various political campaigns in South Florida. Andrea graduated from the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy at Florida State University with a BS in International Affairs in 2017.
