One of the best strategies for advancing the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda is to establish the minimum core competencies that will help trainers and educators explain how to put the WPS agenda into practice. Educators should incorporate these competencies into all trainings and classes for soldiers, graduate students, and policy professionals alike.
In August 2017, Our Secure Future convened a groundbreaking Women, Peace and Security Curriculum Consortium, bringing together 27 experts and thought leaders from across US civilian and military learning institutions.
