On May 13, 2026, as part of the Peace and Security Funders Group (PSFG) Annual Meeting, Our Secure Future (OSF), in partnership with Humanity United (HU), co-hosted a private reception in Washington, DC, to commemorate OSF’s 10th anniversary. The gathering also honored Cynda Collins Arsenault, President and Founder of OSF, for her leadership in advancing the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda.
The reception convened members of the PSFG community, including philanthropic partners, advocates, and collaborators, creating space for reflection on a decade of progress and renewed commitment to the years ahead. The evening underscored the importance of sustained investment in advancing WPS and highlighted the collective achievements made possible through partnership and shared vision.
Over the past 10 years, OSF has contributed to key milestones in the field, including helping to establish the U.S. Congressional WPS Caucus, launching and expanding the WPS Academy, and supporting a growing global architecture that advances women’s leadership in peace and security efforts.
The event also served as a moment to recognize the vision and impact of OSF’s founder, Cynda Collins Arsenault, whose leadership has helped shape practical approaches to advancing WPS policy and advocacy.
As OSF marks this milestone, the organization looks ahead to the next decade with a continued focus on strengthening partnerships and accelerating progress in the field.
