Our Secure Future Fellow Provides Training on Women, Peace and Security to APCSS
Our Secure Future Fellow Sarah Williamson attended the Daniel K. Inouye Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies (APCSS) Advanced Security Cooperation Course from October 9 to October 12.
Admiral Davidson of US Pacific Command (PACOM) delivered a keynote speech that emphasized the role of PACOM in preventing war in the region, a goal that directly links to the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) agenda. Sarah mentored fellows working on WPS in Japan, Mongolia, and Sri Lanka and hosted an instructor brown-bag lunch on the WPS agenda.
