Our Secure Future held a strategy roundtable for Mobilizing Men as Partners for Women, Peace and Security.
On Tuesday, November 5, Our Secure Future held a strategy roundtable for Mobilizing Men as Partners for Women, Peace and Security. Meeting participants discussed the progress the Partners Initiative has made over the past year, specific actions to take in light of the release of the US Government Strategy on Women, Peace and Security, as well as opportunities for Partners to engage in specific peace processes and relevant conflict zones.
Moving forward, the Partners Initiative plans to continue working to define time-bound and measurable goals for the coming year, compliment the work of grassroots women peacebuilders working in conflict-affected countries around the world, and increase its outreach with the US Congress, among other actions. To learn more, download the Charter, and sign up to join the Partnership initiative.
