On Friday, May 12, Cynda Collins Arsenault, Founder of Our Secure Future, spoke at a panel discussion on International Human Rights for Women hosted by the Women’s Forum of Colorado. The panel was moderated by Theresa Szczurek, a board member of the Women’s Forum of Colorado. Additional panelists included Phyllis Cox, an experienced lawyer and international development professional, Patricia Foley Hinnen, Founding CEO of Capital Sisters International, Melissa Theesen, Managing Director at ECDC African Community Center, and Eliza Woloson, an anthropologist and entrepreneur.
As businesswomen, entrepreneurs, policymakers, service providers, mothers, and activists, the panelists discussed important factors for the advancement of women’s rights around the world. They discussed not only the previous decades of hard-fought gains, but also the future of women’s rights.
