Mobilizing Allies for WPS Receives 2025 InterAction Disability Inclusion Award Honorable Mention

Our Secure Future (OSF) is proud to celebrate the Mobilizing Allies for Women, Peace and Security (MAWPS) initiative, and their recognition on October 16 at the InterAction Forum for this year’s Disability Inclusion Award.

Congratulations to Ambassador Donald Steinberg and Kelly Case of Strategy for Humanity for their Honorable Mention as part of InterAction's 2025 Disability Inclusion Award for their dedicated contributions to the Women, Peace and Security and disability space through the MAWPS initiative. As a longtime partner of MAWPS, Our Secure Future applauds this achievement. Lever For Change will receive this year’s Disability Inclusion award, with Mobilizing Allies for Women, Peace and Security, Clinton Health Access Initiative, and World Vision, Inc. earning Honorable Mentions.

Since 2019, MAWPS has worked to strengthen and empower grassroots organizations in conflict-affected countries. As an OSF partner of over five years, MAWPS has distributed over 40 small grants in organizations across 25 countries through the Distinguished Partner Award program including those that work to ensure women with disabilities are actively involved in governance and conflict resolution initiatives in their countries, their regions, and beyond. OSF is proud to support the mission and efforts of these organizations working at the nexus of women’s rights, health, conflict resolution, population displacement, and many other areas.

We are immensely grateful for MAWPS’ commitment to the Women, Peace and Security agenda and supporting women peacebuilders globally. Please find more information about the 2025 InterAction Forum and the Disability Inclusion Award here.
