Amid critical funding shortages for women’s organizations in crisis contexts, WPHF works to building a world where women are at the forefront of recovery, transformation and lasting peace for all.
Cynda's extensive work in supporting peace and security globally includes promoting the Women, Peace and Security agenda and elevating the voices of women who are courageously driving peace, resilience, and stability in conflict-affected regions worldwide. Cynda is the Founder of Our Secure Future and Women Powering Change, an annual gathering of women working to create a better world. She is a member of the Women's Donor Network, Women Moving Millions, and The International Women’s Forum, and has contributed to extensive international efforts through her personal philanthropy to bring women’s critical skills to the table to solve pressing global peace and security challenges.
She joins 13 other business leaders, philanthropists, photographers, and young feminists from around the world working to support women peacebuilders, humanitarians and human rights defenders in the most intractable conflict and crisis situations.
