On Friday November 8th, OSF, in partnership with Smash Strategies and InterAction, held a convening to discuss the implementation of a Feminist Foreign Policy in the US. Based on our recent policy brief, the conversation centered around how to operationalize a feminist foreign policy, and a discussion of next steps for the WPS community of practice. The conversation also featured lightning presentations on lessons learned from the Swedish experience, accountability mechanisms to hold policy decision-makers responsible, input from grassroots peacebuilders, and recommendations on how a Feminist Foreign Policy might be structured within the US context.
