Produced in partnership with Smash Strategies and based on interviews with experts working in this space, this policy brief grounds the concept of a feminist foreign policy within the US context, outlines connections to other national and international policy frameworks, and provides recommendations to operationalize such a policy in the US. The report ultimately concludes that a transformational feminist foreign policy should contain the components necessary to promote gender equality and enable effective conflict prevention through women’s full and meaningful participation.
