OSF Director speaks on a panel on feminist foreign policy, hosted by SAIS for the SAIS GLobal Women in Leadership Conference.
OSF Director, Sahana Dharmapuri, was featured as a panelist for an event hosted by the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) in a SAIS Global Women in Leadership Conference on Wednesday, April 7th - Friday, April 9th. The panel was titled “Is Your Foreign Policy Feminist?: Questions and Answers for International Relations in 2021”, hosted by Dr. Chiedo Nwankor, Director of SAIS Women Lead. Sahana was joined by Rebecca Turkington, current PhD candidate at Cambridge University and former assistant director of of Women and Foreign Policy at the Council for Foreign Relations, and they discussed the current discourse on feminist foreign policy and the future of the area as gender and feminism become more accepted into the mainstream of foreign policy.
