Partnering with the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA), Our Secure Future presented SHIFT: Ask a Different Question to improve security outcomes.
On June 4th, Our Secure Future Director Sahana Dharmapuri and NDI Director of Democracy and Technology, Moira Whelan presented the first gender training in a series to the International Stability Operations Association (ISOA) as part of their Women, Peace and Security certification. Over 68 ISOA members attended. ISOA is the only private sector association representing the stability sector exclusively – those companies and organizations whose work lays the foundation for long term stability and growth in the world’s most unstable places.
Our Secure Future is supporting ISOA as part of their Women, Peace and Security certification series. The two-hour virtual training focused on how ISOA companies can incorporate gender analysis in their work to improve security outcomes. The training included OSF’s signature TED-style talk, SHIFT: Ask a Different Question, and highlighted the legislative background of the Women, Peace, and Security Act of 2017.
