The panelists discussed the situation on the ground in Afghanistan and the ongoing consequences of the U.S.’s withdrawal.

Sahaha specifically focused on the Women, Peace and Security Act, and the U.S. Government’s commitment to implementing the Women, Peace and Security agenda. The other panelists discussed their advocacy work in Afghanistan, and Nargis shared the reality of being an Afghan woman forced to flee her own country. The audience was very engaged, carrying on conversations in the chat and asking insightful questions.
