Overview

A “feminist foreign policy” is a framework for pursuing global peace and security that recognizes the impact of U.S. foreign policy on every person in the countries where we engage. This is not partisan and it is not political. Today, in the United States of America, we need a feminist foreign policy more than ever. Sahana Dharmapuri and Jolynn Shoemaker outline five steps to a Feminist Foreign Policy in this article in Ms. Magazine.
